WSU Baseball: Show Up On Friday!

Other than the standing reason of "it's baseball and it's awesome so you should be there," there are a few unique reasons you should absolutely convince your mom to come out with you to the WSU baseball game on Friday. Why, you ask? Let me tell you!

1. It's baseball and it's awesome so you should be there.
2. Derek Jones will be honored before the game for his record breaking HR in Portland on Tuesday.
3. Mom's Weekend crowds are always great, which makes it even more awesome.

Derek Jones has been a huge part of this team for years and the record he now holds is a huge one, it would be great if we could get as many people out of there as possible to celebrate his achievement. After being drafted last year Jones came back mostly because he didn't like how last season ended for the Cougs and he felt like he owed it to the program to come back and leave them in a better state. How awesome is that? Come out and cheer for this guy! The ceremony for Derek will begin at 5:20.

The last two Mom's Weekend we had the #1 team in the country in Pullman to play, this year we have Utah, not even remotely the #1 team in the country. Despite the opponent, the crowds will be great and that's always fun.
